I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I'm Back!

Don't give me that look. I know, I haven't been posting since October. But I have my reasons. Mostly, I blame homework. But on the up side I have more news! Last night was my winter concert up at my school. We actually did pretty good! Over the weekend I had to go to a wedding, but it was really fun! I got to stay at a hotel in New Jersey, but it was right on the Hudson River! So I was able to see Manhattan! I was having so much fun! Ok, I know this was a while ago but I had tons of fun on my B-day! It was in November. I went to the movies with a bunch of my friends. I also had a small party with my dad's side of the family, and a party with my mom, dad, brother, and 2 grandmas! I had so much fun! My friends even decorated my locker! Wow, even though I haven't been here in a while that was pretty much all that happened! wow!

( If you can relate to any of these things I mentioned or want to share a story of your own, post a comment! PLEASE! thank you!)

Spirit Week!!!!!

Alright I get it. You are all probably wondering," Where has she been?" Well I'm back and once again, I have some stories to tell. Well this past week was "Spirit Week" at my school. Each day, you had to do something with your clothes. Monday was "Retro Day". On Retro day, you had to were something that people wore back in the 50's,60's,70's,or 80's. I just wore a tie-dye shirt to represent the 70's. This one kid took it too far and started saying things like, "Groovy" and, "Psychedelic". Anyways, Tuesday was "Twin Day". On Twin Day, you had to dress just like someone else. I didn't have a twin, so I just didn't do anything that day. Wednesday was "Mix and Match Day". It's kind of self explanatory what you had to do on that day. I wore a dark pink shirt with light pink pants, a brown headband, and blue socks. Thursday was "Green and White Day". So on Green and White Day, you had to show your school colors and ware green and white! (obviously). So I wore a green shirt and white pants. At lunch, people sold green and white balloon's, and people did face painting! So the rest of the day I was walking around with balloons on my wrists and paint on my face! And last but not least, Friday was "Pajama Day". Obviously, on Pajama Day, you had to ware your PJ's to school! It was both fun, and funny. There were people with slippers, robes, and stuffed animals!(mostly teddy bears). I wore some new PJ's that I got the night before. Whew...... So that was what happened to me this past week.

(If you have "Spirit Weeks" at your school, feel free to let me know by posting a comment)

(If you liked, or hated a certain day that I told you about, please tell me by posting a comment)

I'll be back soon! And when I say soon, hopefully, I mean SOON.
Check back in soon to hear about my Halloween!

NEWSPAPER!!!!!!

I know, I know. I haven't been writing in my blog lately. Again. But I'm back again and I have a few things to say. I joined the school newspaper and I'm one of the photographers. Someone in my class is going to write an article on one of my teachers. So I figured I should go to the interview and take pictures! Since I'm going to be there, I'm also going to help take notes. I can't wait!!!!! The only problem is that the interview was supposed to be like, two days ago!!!!!! Then, it was going to be yesterday! But now, it's on Monday. I'm perfectly fine with that, but I just hope it STAYS on Monday. There is a dead-line that you have to meet!!!! I think it's on October 19. That's on FRIDAY!!!!!! And my friend still has to find time after his homework to actually TYPE the article!!!!! But I can't wait until the interview, and when the first paper gets printed. But I think there is only four newspapers a year. Oh well...... Listen, I understand that I sound very excited about a newspaper. Right now, your probably thinking,"what's with this girl? Why is she so excited about a newspaper? She is really weird!" Well, I honestly hope that you WEREN'T thinking the last one. But you get the idea. But here is my answer to those questions,"Joining the newspaper is a great way to get involved at your school. I have other friends that are in the newspaper, so I get to see them. And joining the newspaper gives you the chance to learn more about your school." So now, I hope I encouraged you to join clubs and activities. It's actually very fun!!!!! Hopefully when I come back I can talk about how great the interview went!

( If you are interested or in any clubs, then feel free to post a comment.) :) :) :) :)

My Poor Dog!!!!!!!!!

I'm back, and I know I haven't posted anything in a while but that's what happens when you have 7th grade homework. But look, I'm back and I have a few things to say. The main thing that I want to talk about is, just like the title says, my poor dog.
My dog's name is Blossom, she is a Labrador retriever. Blossom is a really funny dog. So I bet you are wondering by now, " Why is she saying my poor dog?" and here is why. On Sunday, September 16, obviously 2007, me and my mom were at a bridal shower and my dad and brother were home. So while my mom and I were driving home, I got a call from my dad. He sounded worried and frantic! He told me to put Mom on the phone, so i did. Mom and I drove to the vet. When we got there, Blossom was bleeding!!!!!!!! Apparently, her anal gland, right by her butt, I guess popped like a pimple!!!!!! Before you say anything, GROSS!!!!!!!!!!! I know. But the scary thing is, apparently, IT'S COMMON WITH LAB'S!!!!!!! So Blossom is now sitting in the den with a cone on her head as i type this. I feel so bad for her! I just wish there is something I can do.
( If you can somehow relate to this, or if you want to say somthing about Blossom or your own dog, please post a comment.)

So now let's look at the brighter side. My social studies teacher made up a game called "Knowball". We are going to play it tomorrow! The game seems like so much fun! What you have to do is ask a question, and if the other team gets it right, they get to take a shot and give their team points! And the winning team gets no homework!!!!!! However, the losing team can pick someone to go against the teacher, and if they win, no homework!!!! But if they lose, they tried, but they still get homework. I think this sounds like a cool game, so if you agree, or just want to try it,go ahead!
( If you want me to tell you more about "Knowball", or your opinion, post a comment. I will also be glad to see any ideas of a game you made up, so if you have one, feel free to post it.)

Grandma is out of the Hospital!!!

I'm back, and guess what. My Grandma is out of the hospital!!!! She came home today! I'm glad she's out of the hospital. I really feel bad for her though. When she was in the hospital, it looked like she was in jail. Even when she is home I feel bad for her because she is still sick. I just really hope she can stay home now. My Grandma keeps going back and forth, from her house to the hospital. It's driving me crazy!!! If she has to go back to the hospital 1 more time I think I'm going to explode!!!!!! I just really wish she could get better and stay home soon. But you know what? I think I should just enjoy my Grandma being home. Even if she has to go back to the hospital again. Oh well, that's life.
( If you are in the same position as I am, or just want to voice your opinion, please leave a comment.)

1 more thing. As you all know, today is September 11th. Or better known as " 9/11" . Not only did we lose the Twin Towers, but hundreds of lives were lost. So if you could all take a moment of silence............................... Thank you.
( If you have something to say about 9/11, please feel free to post a comment. Thanks!)

My Social Studies Teacher and Herbie

Hi!!! Me again!!!! I just came back from school a few minutes ago. I love my new school!!! Now, I have my own locker, and I get to meet a bunch of new kids, and teachers! All of my new teachers rock!! One of my teachers is really crazy! He is my social studies teacher. He makes funny faces, and talks about Herbie! Herbie is a bird, that is also my teachers friend! Here's the story about Herbie: About 30 years ago, a bird would fly into my teachers classroom every day. And everyday, the bird would poop on every desk and the classroom became a mess. So everyday, my teacher would try to hit the bird with a stick. Eventualy, the bird and my teacher became friends. The bird's name was Herbie. So everyday, Herbie would visit my teacher. But one day, Herbie flew into the classroom with a bird toy. So my teacher said "Thank you." and Herbie left and never came back. So my teacher named the toy," Herbie". The End. I don't know if it really happened or not, but now I know 2 things:
1. Herbie is watching all of us, ( from the speakers where my teacher put the bird toy!)
2. My teacher is really crazy, but that's what makes him one of the best teachers ever!
(If any of you have a crazy teacher, feel free to let me know!) :)
(You can also tell me your thoughts about Herbie!) :)

GO HERBIE!!!!

Look Everyone! It's My Shiny New Blog!

Hi everyone! My name is Samantha and this is my new Blog! As a matter of fact, it's my first Blog ever. I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts and posting your own. I know I'll enjoy hearing from you all and sharing my experiences with you. As I said, my name is Samantha. I'm just starting the 7th grade and the school I'm going to has grades 7 through 12 all in the same building. It's a pretty big school. Much bigger than the elementary school that I went to for the past 6 years. It was kind of scary thinking of having to go to such a huge school with so many kids (a lot of them three times my size!) but now that I started, I'm not so nervous any more. It's just another school. A lot of my friends are with me in this new school, and we're all helping each other to get used to it. The idea for me to start this Blog was given to me by my grandmother who happens to be sick with pancreatic cancer. She thought it would be easier for me to deal with having a sick relative by sharing my thoughts with other kids who are in similar situations. That's my Grandma. She's pretty smart. I figure we can talk about things like this, and other stuff that kids our age are dealing with. Even if you don't have any experience with some of the things I talk about on this Blog, feel free to express your thoughts and opinions. I'll be expressing mine. So I hope you all enjoy my shiny new Blog. Feel free to visit and post any time! Thank you, The Management :)
